Fox Horizon 12ft 2.75TC Carp Rod

The NEW Horizon rods from Fox, have been specifically developed to achieve extreme distance and the construction utilises some of the most technically advanced materials currently available. Titanium is used by the military for a wide array of tasks including missiles, helicopters and submarines. By weight titanium is one of the strongest readily available metals. It is 45% lighter than steel with comparable strength, and twice as strong as aluminum while being only 60% heavier. The blanks are built with a bonded Titanium mesh over wrap which adds amazing strength while providing incredible tip recovery speed. Each rod is then fitted with our own Fox Tri-Lites which have been designed to be extremely strong but also exceptionally lightweight. Gunsmoke stainless steel frames with titanium coloured inserts create a groundbreaking guide that is radical both in looks and performance. Tri-Lites have been engineered in new, non-standard sizes to compliment the Horizon blanks, these include 48mm butt guides on the12ft 6” and 14mm tips on the 12ft models.
