G-Series reels are a tremendous first reel – but their dependability and versatility also means they are highly regarded by the more experienced angler. They’re made of lightweight, die-cast aluminum and feature a smooth disk drag as well as easy-to-change spools. Out on the water, the smaller size reels team up beautifully with the shorter river rods in the Greys’ range where lightness and balance are key considerations. The three/four-weight G-Series, for example, works perfectly with the lighter Streamflex rods for an excellent combination when you’re out after wild browns or grayling.
