French Carping Quest For The Big Carp

This is a programme about the ultimate carp challenge; tackling a huge water of several thousand acres with more than 20 miles of bank, in search of huge carp. It's the story of a session lasting almost two weeks when Kevin Maddocks and angling companion Alan Taylor, chose the "wrong time" to beat their persnal bests, strong winds, heavy rain, excessive angling pressure, and severe drop in water tempreture made the going etremely tough. For most of the trip, driving rain made it impossible to film but eventually it stopped, just in time, to record the capture of a really big fish. Kevin was forced to take the boat because of underwater tree trunks and the film finishes with a dramatic battle with a near 50 pound carp.
