When French Carping 2: Ton-up at La Du Der Chantecoq was released, the carp world was shocked at the sheer size of the catch, more than 100 carp over 20 pounds, 60 over 30 pounds and 5 over 40 pounds. Many people wanted to see proof of this catch, which is the largest haul of carp ever recorded on film and so, much of the programme was dedicated to showing as many fish as possible.
