In this volume Matt and Mick go course fishing for bream and roach at Llandegfedd Reservoir in Wales. They are highly privileged as they have been given special permission to fish for these species on this water, and are the first ever to do so. However, its Matts personal best hybrid that steals the day, which he firmly believes would have been a record breaker if caught in Ireland. Lots of small perch are all they can bag on the Thames near Henley, but moving on to Grafham Reservoir, they fish night and day and, although unsuccessful with their intended zander, they do catch lots of pike and Matt picks up a 2lb perch.
